This is why the Flyers went out and got a goalie of Bryz's caliber. You play your best players at this point in the season. The Flyers (1 game in hand) are only two points ahead of NJ and this game tonight is very important imo. Bob will get his couple of games down the stretch.

When exactly should Bob get his starts then? You can't run Bryz out there every night for the rest of the season. Phoenix did that and look what good it did them. It's a second game in a back to back. The Flyers play NJ Tuesday. If they lose to them tonight they can catch back up tuesday.

and I'll reiterate what I said earlier, PHoenix did just that and he was ground to a pulp come playoff time. IT's no big deal if he sits tonight. It would be no different than if the Flyers didn't play at all until Tues then played him.

Yeah no bob tonight please. i like bob , but im going to the game and have yet to see bryz play live. Besides that the guy has freaking 3 shutouts in one week..so far . You just dont sit that guy. Give bob the home game against devils, or the game on the island.

Now you're answering my question with questions off topic. How is following the practices of a team in 13th place of the western conference conducive to winning a cup? I'll answer that for you, it's not. Furthermore as I've said before goalies playing over 60 games don't do real well in the playoffs lately. Luongo made it to game 7 last year but he was visibly gassed in the last two games of that series.

You want to keep Bryz's starts to 60 so he's got enough left in the tank for an extended run. So what if the Devils are two points behind them? It's irrelevant Bobrovsky has to pull his weight too at some point before the season is over. You think the Rangers aren't going to start Biron again? Starting Bob has nothing to do with Bob it's about keeping Bryz fresh. It does no good to finish a top the conference and have your goalie ground to a pulp and your team depleted with injuries. The Flyers finished 7th and 2nd in consecutive years, I would say the year they finished lower was a lot more successful. How you are seeded is meaningless unless the team plays well in the playoffs and is healthy.

Good. Bryz has played well all week and in my opinion maybe Bob should have had last night but Bob has to get into one of these weekend games. I would even CONSIDER giving Bob Boston next weekend too because they aren't exactly on fire right now either.
