I actually have no problem with Bob starting tonight. Its the 2nd half of a back to back. Bryz now KNOWS he is the guy and isn't being benched for sub par performance. He knows now that the job is his and even if Bob plays great tonight he is getting the next start.
Bob will probably play again next weekend as well.
I just want to say real quick, that may have been the greatest shootout move I've ever seen by Giroux last night. Simply breathtaking. The Goalie should have just skated out of the net, and let him shoot at the open net. Would have had just a good a chance of Giroux not scoring.

I agree. I was just talking to my dad about it an hour ago and said to him is was the sickest move I have ever seen. Simply sensation. An all time highlight reel type of goal.

It's going well. I'm leaving shortly to pick him up from his grandmother's.
He finished his winter season with a pair of games last weekend. He starts the spring season the weekend of the 31st. My wife and I figured we'd let him play the spring since 1) he broke his arm and missed 6 games and 2) his team wasn't really good and letting him play in spring with different kids would be a good experience. Unfortunately, the way the winter team was assembled, they had 2002 kids that just moved up to Squirts and every single one of the 2001 kids were first-year players, except the goalie. Made for a tough year, but it was nice to win the last game of the season.

It is incredible, his skill level. Pure joy to watch. I just want to see him take less dings the rest of the season.
Bob is starting tonight, per Flyers twitter feed - Jsaquella
I'll support the coaches decision even though I think Bryz is too hot to sit on the bench tonight. 16 games left and Bob should play no more than 3 of them. Hope he does well tonight would like to see the Flyers get a 4 point lead on the Devils.

I would have gone with Bryz myself, but I understand the decision and am fine with it.

Amazing move.. The toe drag itself was crazy, but he didn't even just put it in... he roofed it and hit the gatorade bottle.. wow.

It wasn't the first time he used it. But it was a sick move.
I still would have started Bryz, but whatevs - Jsaquella
I think the number of games a goalie plays can be highly overrated. Bryz has two shutouts in a row and he'll be on the bench tonight, dont get it. Hopefully Bob gets the job done tonight.
