I worked in the North Jersey area in the late 90's early 2000's all I ever ran into were stinking Devils fans. There's a few of you who stay true but for the majority that's been one team whose fanbase has the luxury to switch out between two three teams locally. Oh and in the 80's Isle fans were all over the place. Its funny how winning does that. Don't feel bad, when the Penguins sucked they almost lost their franchise b/c their phony fans acted like the team didn't exist. When the flyers sucked the building was still packed so there you go. - JoeRussomanno
Oh your talking about those fake bandwagon new york fans...Yeah there's a (frank)ing lot of em around here...Makes me sick pick one team and stick with it. |

He should start watching for the referee AFTER the hit, not before - Ondrej F
I don't care what he does so long as he keeps scoring and dominating behind the net the way he has been. He doesn't seem to be a very bright guy, so i doubt a few shots to the head are going to hurt him very much. |

Such a wonderful fan base... Tell me, did the team drive cars around the parking lot for thier parade? - RooNosHockey
Making fun of another team's parades when your team hasn't had any in 37 years is really the epitome of ridiculousness. |

I cant blame teams like Islanders and Columbus for not selling out, thier teams suck, and the Colessium is aweful... But when you have a team that Wins, and wins often, and the fans dont show up... that is just pitiful. If I were to have my way, the Devils would go to a more deserving area. Probally the most pitiful fan base in the NHL. Who doesn't support your team, especially when your winning?!?!? - RooNosHockey
I have to admit I have hoped and prayed re-alignment would send the Devils to another conference so they wouldn't exactly be rivals to the Flyers anymore. Then oh yea I would definitely root for and support them. I'll always be Flyer fan but I still have my little side-piece teams In fact it would probably do a franchise like them a ton of good to get realigned like that. Rag and Isle fans could openly root for them too. IT is a shame despite their rivalry with the Flyers I have always hated to hate them. |

I know the re-alignment isnt finished, but looking at what is likely to happen and seeing our possible Conference... this is going to be aweful. Rangers, Flyers, Penguins, and Devils are all good teams now... And they are set up to be good for some time... Islanders are also going to be a good team soon. They are getting much better and all they need is a new arena to draw some players and look out... Not to mention that if Ovechkin and Semin regain their former selves, the Caps could be a dangerous team... It would absolutely kill at least 1-2 good teams here in the near future that wont even make the playoffs. Ugh... And Boston gets to beat up on Florida, Tampa, Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, and Buffalo... |

Both are certainly true.
But I wouldn't care if the Flyers had their parade in a parking lot or a rest stop on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, just have one. |

Whether we have one or not, does not change the sad state of the fan base in Jersey. They really dont deserve the team, or the Cups they have. |

The team certainly deserves the Stanley Cups they have earned. They also deserve a more fanatical fanbase. That's not the fault of the team.
I'd trade a fanatical fanbase for 3 Stanley Cups in the past 17 years in a heartbeat. |

Yea that new realignment plan absolutely sucks. I believe in keeping the FLyers, Rags and Pens together but the other two should get split between that whatever you call it with Boston and the other going to Washington's. Then a cream puff team from each of those division/conference/baking club etc coming back this way. IF anything just leave it the eff alone. The one problem with the NHL is the league is always coming up with crazy nonsense to improve the product. How about this you nitwits, go back to the way things were in the 80's with less teams and how alignment was in those days. It was only the best decade of Hockey! Oh and you can even litter the boards and ice with crappy ads that no one gives a crap about so your retarded sponsors can line your pockets too. |

Is an apathetic fanbase better or worse than a often times clueless one that shows up and boos a struggling player when he records a shutout? |

How about showing a shred of class or decency?
Your poop-talking doesn't even make any sense. I'd rather be in an empty arena with 5,000 decent fans than in an arena jam-packed with people like you. |
