no doubt, but what sticks in my craw is when they impact the team I root for. Whether it should get to the players is another question, but when it seems like it is, then its hard to ignore. Bryz has turned the corner, has put those asshats behind him hopefully, and now they should leave him alone or start asking more relevant questions aimed at providing actual important information to their readers.

Normally, as long as it doesn;t affect the team, I can ignore it...but things get to the point where what those idiots write do affect the team too often.

I'm not saying there needs to be puff pieces. But being snarky about a guy's personality because he's struggling is bush league and ridiculous

It is bush league and ridiculous. Thats why you cant allow it to get under your skin. The guys in the locker room that play for each other is all that matters. The media can be annoying with its agenda to make something out of nothing but you have to push it aside, continue to work hard, and play together to achieve the ultimate goal (STANLEY CUP).

Don't disagree. However being a professional athlete and dealing with the media is something you have to do (no secret). Some players handle it well and others don't. It can be annoying every single day but you still have to put it behind you and move forward.

He is absolutely one of the worst. Just a real blow hard with no real knowledge about any of the sports. He's the last guy that should be writing a Hockey article.

To cry because bryz has now decided to give them all a collected "F U", when they did nothing but bash him for the past 3 months is just stupid. I'd do the same if I was bryz.

Bryzgalov's "cold" demeanor with the media is all a big, calculated act. As Timonen said last night (and Bryzgalov himself said on 24/7) when asked for the umpteenth time about Bryzgalov's personality, Bryzgalov puts on one face for the media and another in the locker room among his teammates.

Right now, I guarantee you that Bryzgalov is having more fun playing the "I don't want to talk about me" game than he did during the months while the team PR guys were assigned to stand guard and limit his media availability time so that he didn't say the "wrong" things.

He's playing great, his teammates now have a world of confidence in him and the more he scowls and ducks as many interviews as possible, the more he's more or less left alone to stay in his zone.

Not a bad tradeoff when the results have been so dramatic on the ice.

it's interesting to watch those guys play in the W. Conference now. You always wonder how a guy would perform in a different division, etc., and now, we can kind of see that. As much as I like those guys and the other ex-Flyers in the organization (and don't dislike anyone on that team), I just don't really like the Kings all that much. Don't know why.

I agree. Bryz is doing the right thing. He has to do whats best for himself and the team. Whatever he has done/changed is working and he needs to stick to it.
