ECHL naturally. |

I'd rather keep Burrows on that 3rd line, scratch Raymond and let whoever fits better with the Sedins out of Booth and Kassian play up there. - Shorty's ritalin

Sedins with the slump busters (points, yes I know they were assists). Although there have been a few glaring mistakes, don't know if you can say Canucks deserve the fate of losing 5-4 in this game. I would really like to see Kassian with Sedins though and scratch Raymond. Hopefully Kesler can stop hitting the post and get another one! - kent
Kassian was on the ice with the Sedins for a goal against tonight. That happened a few games ago as well iirc. I'm not saying it's his fault but his last couple of chances with them have had goals against.

When rebound luongoal starts we lose. When Schneider starts we win. AV better grow a pair and start starting our number 1 goalie instead of our number 3 or he will be looking for another coaching job this summer. Also Raymond is on our top line? AV needs to get his head checked after this game. |

Kassian's gone totally invisible since the first couple of games. Has he gotten anywhere close to the 10 hits he laid out in one of his first games? |

Raymond waivers? Oh cmon we will get a bag of pucks for him in the off season |

He needs to get involved in the game. I think the 4th line is the wrong place for him. |

Yeah I was saying a few days back it was a waste of time. Top 9 or sit the guy. |

This game boiled down to mistakes, we outchanced them in my opinion and deserved to win this game. A too many men penalty is completely preventable, someone needs to speak the eff up! We all saw the gongshow Bieksa brought tonight. It's too bad, shoulda been a W. |

The Bieksa gongshow was predictable and preventable. If Bieksa isn't 100% comfortable with his partner, he overthinks everything and does nothing. |

Agreed, Hamhuis and Bieksa need to stick together. Not exactly sure what AV was thinking with the D pairs.. |

On the balance of things it was definitely an improved performance in some areas (intensity above all) over some of the losses lately but still we look sketchy at present. Pretty much 3 weeks to sort this poop out. |

Rarely do things go a teams way when they finally bring some intensity after a prolonged funk. It usually takes a game or three before some bounces start going there way. |

Tanev is the only player to finish as high as a +2
Good for Tanev. I'm still in disbelief that he and Mag are looking the closest to mistake free out there. The Sedins were not great but did pick up points...it's a start. Thats some of the good news.
43 shots by the Canucks and 4 goals. Thats a good enough performance to win typically. This loss will have to hang on Luongo and Bieksa. Lu was soft as hell and Bieksa getting caught deep lead to a goal and then in the box for another. So often those two suck or play huge hand in hand.
What makes it worse is the Yotes were short some key players for the night and also played with 5 D. Smith played nowhere near his usual compete level tonight. This stinks |

Positives
- good start, 2 goals in the first frame
- Sedins get on the board
- Kesler still looks like a man possessed
- Booth drives to the net
- Pahlsson and Hansen have looked great together, regardless of who the other winger is
- got a deuce on the powerplay
Negatives
- not capitalizing on chances on odd man rushes
- gave up a 2 goal lead
- who wears #23?
- Raymond looks lost
- defensive pairing switch up didn't seem to work
- a few questionable rebounds by Roberto |

I would agree if that intensity remains consistent for those games. They brought intensity against WPG after 2 dud games, then laid an egg against MTL. |
