If he wants to leave why the hell would he care about who has his rights in another league? |

I would temper your expectations a little if he does come over too. KHL is nowhere near the NHL level of play it does sometimes take time to adjust. Particularly for younger guys. |

I've never seen a goalie as big as Bryzgalov look so small in the net. I said when Philly signed him that was a worse contract than Leino and I stand by my words. |

Normally your Russian team needs to release you from your contract (or you have a clause releasing you). In this case I believe he had a contract with Nashville before he signed in Russian and he's already violating that, so what's one more violation?
My guess is he might want to play on the National team in the Olympics and they might be threatening that if he breaks his contract or something. |

There was no KHL/NHL agreement when he left the Preds. Shortly thereafter an agreement was inked between the two leagues that both sides are now bound to honor. In other words if Radulov bolts now without his Russian team's permission (and/or that of the KHL), the NHL cannot allow him to play here. |

The big difference is that the Preds still have his rights despite him leaving. I don't blame Salavat for not giving up rights to not only their leading scorer but the league's leading scorer.
Eh, what does Radulov care.
The interesting thing is that he wants to play this year so he'll be a free agent, but he's still an RFA. What is his KHL contract like? Would he even want to stay in Nashville this time? |

Except Radulov has already played in the NHL and has what it takes and he knows what to do to produce. I dont think there's gonna be much of a lag. |

Radulov's official version is that he needed money to support his extremely large family back home (hence why he left in the first place) but that he wants to play in the NHL, not the KHL.
I personally think thats a poopty explanation but there you have it. |

Leino is the worst contract ever. And most Flyers fans said as much when he signed it. The guy had half a good season and a good playoff...that's it.
Bryz had 5 seasons of excellent play leading up to his contract.
There was a vocal section of the Flyers fan base that were ripping Bryz, but most of them were WIP ball suckers who cant form an original thought nor understand the simplest concepts of team defense and how it is a two way street. Bryz' bad play was as much a result of horrible team defense as it was his own inability to stop the puck.
You can say it was a chicken and the egg argument. The Flyers horrible backdoor coverage resulted in Bryz starting to cheat, and Bryz cheating resulted in bad goals. He wasn't letting up nearly as many bad goals as the "fans" who wanted him "Redden'd" would have you believe. The majority were the results of egregious defensive breakdowns, the majority of which were the FORWARDS fault even more so than the dmen. Sure there were bad goals.
Now, Kubina and Grossmann have tightened up the coverage, made it a little harder to stand in front of the net and get deflections, and allowed the other dmen to slot back in to their best roles. And also allowed them to spot start the two or three rookies who were playing way too much for comfort.
Bryz, getting his confidence back, is starting to make some more of those "breakdown" saves because he isn't thinking about when his team is going to leave the inevitable wide open chance in front.
