I think Leighton is a capable back up goalie in the NHL. Said that this summer as well. Not good enough to start but not bad to use 20-25 games a year. - stveshdy
Yep. Anyone calling him a "terrible" goalie is showing their lack of research. If they need more research, ask jak - who is now doing his own, per JoeR's recommendation. |

Whenever I have ever done a bracket, for the Final Four, I stick to the K's: Kansas, Kentucky, and Mike "Where are all the S's in my name?" Krzyzewski. - Flyskippy

I couldn't name any non-Philadelphia based entrants, so you've got me beat. I've never filled out a bracket. - BulliesPhan87
I have no idea if any of those three (Krzyzewski being Duke's coach, though not sure if he still is) are even in the tourney. |

Getting closer. No offense to Seek and Destroy, but it has more of a "team is taking the ice" feel than "goal song". The key is a good, celebratory feeling chorus. - BulliesPhan87
It was my personal goal song back in the day with my stereo which has a remote control. The Flyers scored and I would flip this thing on for the duration of the song! The whole "Flying high again" line just makes me think of the Flyers scoring a goal go figure |

The tough thing is, as I've seen it, he's played significantly better when he's had a healthy workload. If he didn't have to go through recall waivers, he'd be a pretty good insurance policy against an an injury ravaged tandem. |

Haven't done a bracket in oh... 7-10 years?
I attended Seton Hall U for 1 year. My interest in the tourney has waned since. |

We shall find the perfect classic metal goal song in time. If Halford's voice weren't such an acquired taste, I'd say Screaming for Vengeance. |

Perhaps, but he played well enough to turn back history with Boosh against Boston. If the 1993 Phillies could be lauded for 15 years, why not Michael Leighton? Mitch Williams was more forgiven. |

Long story short: It didn't work out. I was a biology major who did not fare well in biology. (Should have majored in physics or chemistry) |

People sure love passing that word out like candy in Philly. This is where you say that GAA is more of a team stat than a goalie stat. |

The next year? Acme Markets, Inc. Then I applied to Glassboro State, but it was Rowan by the time my first class started. 1 person protested the name changed, with a sign. |

Your refusal to leave when countered with another side of an argument - or resorting to name calling - tells me this. |

I used to follow really closely. And I always take these two games off to watch. But not until last year, on my 29th try, did I ever win the big pool with my bracket. I thought of not playing this year, because I really didn't follow anyone outside of Philly this year, but you really can't win and stop playing. So I'm cannon fodder for this year. |
