That's what every league does. Shives their stars down the throats of the general public. What do you think halftime will be like the first 3-4 weeks of the NFL season? Nothing but a 20 minute Peyton Manning update. That's just the way it is. But I guess if you guys need something else to whine about, have at it. - schiefer466
well then STFU and stop whining about us whining |

So the last 3 times the Flyers have played stiff competition in back to back weekend games, they have lost all 6 games. Just unbelievable.

It's far from over though. Your team has come back quite a few times this year and if they score on this PP then they are right back in it. It was a dumb penalty by Michalek. |

I honestly can't think of a single player in the history of hockey who has as much passion for the game as Crosby. I can't think of a single one. - feelingkettle
And we've all heard something analogous said about Peyton manning. What with him breaking down film for 95 hours a week and blah blah blah. I understand why it may be grating to flyers fans. But it's the same thing broadcasters have been doing for all sports for years. Paint with broad strokes. Cater to the general public and casual fans. Casual fans don't know Claude giroux. They know Crosby. |

Honestly, it shows the short sightedness of the NHL. Malkin and Letang have been stellar this afternoon, yet the focus remains on Crosby. I get it, Sid just returned, but it's not as if the Pens struggled in Crosby's absence. |

I actually thought they gave Malkin and Letang some nice props between periods. Nice goal by the way, its amazing how often simpler = better on the PP.
