Most of the Pens fans here today are the same good guys that drop in for every Flyers=Pens game...hell the worst trolling was that assclown Leafs fan - Jsaquella
Usually the Leafs fans I come across are mostly respectable and never troll and know the game well. They tend to realize it is hard to troll when your team has been a non-factor in the league since the lockout. That guy however complete asshat |

Yeah, he was pissed. He played a Helluva game. I think he was the Pens best player today. |

Might be the best defenseman in the league right now, health permitting. |

I didn't whine at all. I liked looking at the Penguins whine and throw sissy fits after Hartnell scored though - Richieattack18
Not saying you did. Plenty of people were though. Certainly not about to scroll back through 25+ pages looking for specific quotes. That would be sad. Wouldn't it? |

i just wanna say hartnell is tied for 3rd in the league for goals right now... who would have thought |
|
|
|
He is always dangerous on open ice, but he lacks something. Something is wrong, he just does not have the pop.
I honestly did not know Hartnell had the sort of sniping skills he has shown this year. - PT21
He's getting older, he's battled injuries this year, and he's had a bunch of different linemates. He would be on pace for 50+ points if he played a full season, not great, but not awful either. Considering he's better in the playoffs, no reason to write Briere off yet. |

Yep. I agreed 100% with Pierre that had he not been hurt twice, he'd be in the thick of the Norris discussion |

Sup peeps?
Coming to you live from Las Vegas.
Watched the whole game. Great 3rd period. This team showed me something yet again today. Coming off a game yesterday and digging deep in the 3rd like that. Giroux played small the first 40 but showed up in the final 20+. What can be said about the way Hartnell has played this season. Freaking amazing. Bryz looking real solid lately. His confidence is sky high right now. The double deflection goal didn't bother him one bit. Defence played very solid overall too. Lots to like about this group right now.

These kind of games were the real test to see where Bryz really is, and he passed through the weekend with flying colors IMO. If he was just average, the Flyers may not have gotten any points these 2 games. |

not a bad weekend took 3 out of 4 points. - ob18
Got to be pleased with the outcome. Got to bottle that 3rd period and make sure they play like that more often. Also, need somebody to punch Hartsy in the face before the game, because he was full of fire late in the game |

Despite the win, I'd rather get the rags first round then the pens. Rags are looking like the Flyers from last year and the pens really did deserve to win today but that's hockey and too many times the Flyers have been on the other end of that stick, several games against the Devils from the mid 90's to mid oughties (yes I said oughties not eighties) comes to mind. Glad to see hartnell have another name added to his long list whom he can tell to "suck it". |

His average numbers are down after coming back from the concussion too. Sometimes guys are tentative after coming back from those sorts of injuries. Not that it's an excuse, but it happens to a lot of players. |

His GAA sits right around 2.50, and his save % is now at .911, just a fraction off his career averages. - PLindbergh31
He has been stellar the last three weeks, Bob probably gets at most 2 more starts. He is really reading plays well, and seeing the puck. Just have to keep riding the tiger.

What is with all you opposing fans that think we give a poop what you say? you're got bounced today deal with it, go back to commiserate with your fellow fans and leave us alone. Seriously, Pens fans and Rags fans are the biggest bunch of bandwagon phonies. - JoeRussomanno
Don't you need to win something to have a bandwagon?
And how many years do you have to cheer for someone before you're not "on the bandwagon" anymore? I've searched the internet for these answers but am having no luck. Like I started cheering when Mario started playing, I was 12. So technically I was a bandwagon fan then, does that mean I still am now? How many years is a 'bandwagon'? Can you get off a "bandwagon"? If you get off a "bandwagon" and then your team wins again, are you automatically back on the "bandwagon"? I look forwad to your clarification on this matter. |

Yo, Rocky!!
Bryz had an excellent weekend. He stole them a point in Boston, despite not having success in the gimmick afterward, and he was very strong today. Didn;t have much of a chance at the 1st goal and the second one Malkin just beasted. |

the flyers will be playing either the rags or the eight seed (probably the rangers)

Just about every season he's battling injuries. At this point I'm happy if he does what he did today on a regular basis. At least he's a resemblance of his old self. My main fear is he will evaporate into nothing and despite my complaining yesterday I really don't want to see that happen.

Amen...That game was a playoff game. Only problem is, if these two teams meet in round one, the one that advances is going to be icing half of it's AHL team - Jsaquella
Agreed. It would be a battle. |
