I am. Regardless of how bad Columbus is, they are still an NHL franchise and their equipment manager should have known. That is his job, to manage the equipment. - MBFlyerfan
I shouldn't be shocked but with how things have gone for them, it just seems to be inline with things.

It's staggering that nobody took the time to figure it out - Jsaquella
That almost seems untrue or made up that they could be that obtuse about the equipment rules, even an AHL team wouldn't do something like this |

man the pens are dirty! - MrBigglesworth
Now that Hartnell has resorted to highsticking his own teammates in the mouth instead of biting opponents on the ear, you might have a point.

Kunitz, Cooke, and company, along with Geno's constant slew footing makes the Pens the dirtiest team in the league IMO, so you guys really have to no room to talk.
But as long as Hartnell is scoring goals and pissing off all of Pittsburgh, I will be happy. |

I didn't see Letang doing anything but stand up for himself.
And as for Kunitz, was what he did dirty? Sure...but if we are talking about people who "have it coming" Hartnell is at the top of the list. He's a talented player, as we've seen today, but he's been taking liberties with people for years. Sorry, but he gets no sympathy from me. |

As I told Bigglesworth in our thread earlier, we've had years of watching your team do it, so we learned from the best.
And say what you will about Cooke in past years, but he has more points than PIM's this year. He's a regular choir boy now :-)

Your a Penguin, I didn't expect any different on the Kunitz thing, but as for Letang, no, I mean he really gets in the middle of things a lot for a guy who already has 2 concussions in the same year, you would think with the playoffs coming he'd stay away from the "Kunitzism's" if you will. |

Believe me, I'd rather he stay out of scrums, but he'd a hockey player after all...its just not in his DNA to back down. You guys would probably be criticizing him for p%ssying out if he did, lol |

No, I wasn't picking a fight, whether he scrums or not, I wouldn't call him a female anatomy, I was being real, and nothing else, this isn't a hate Pens thing, I give it where it's due, I always said Malkin was the scariest player in the offensive zone, there you have it, but Kunitz has been a piece of shi% for quite a while, bar none, regardless of Hartnells existence, or Averys or anyone else's. |

pretty much. it drives me insane.
i had my own game this afternoon at 3. getting dressed, knew they had tied it. was really surprised by that, and of course the ending. i was just fuming when i left for the rink. it helped me on some level. had a great game today.

Looks like the Flyers might have found another undrafted gem in Wellwood.
I knew the guy was fast, and was a pretty responsible defensive forward, but the kids shown some nice offensive skills/moves.
I thought he should've gotten more playing time in today's game to be honest surprised he only played 11:30 mins. |

Glad you could channel your fire
It really was a complete 180. They were all over the Pens, getting under the Pens' skin and forcing the issue. |

Bryz was better than Flower today, that was the difference. I think we win that one more often than we lose it, but I think Philly gets a better start than that usually too. Good game Flyers. |
