For the amount of havoc he causes and the liberties he takes, yes I'd consider having 5 fights in the last two seasons "rare".

A big part of that number of fights has to do with the fact that Hartnell's goal scoring is pretty important to the Flyers, and they need him on the ice, not in the sin bin for five minutes. |
