It is possible. The amount of time he missed has definitely hampered his game and conditioning. That said, they played well for a bit after he returned. - Jsaquella
McDonaugh had a really rough game against us last game too. But I give that kid a mulligan, he's going to be a beauty. |

This is interesting. I think I hate the Rangers more then I did before 24/7. For me it's always been the Devils and then the Pens but now because of all the lead up to the Winter Classic, I hate the Rangers.
Dubinsky, Avery and Rupp are guys I want nowhere near this team at any points of their careers. Brian Boyle, Ryan Callahan and Henrik Lundqvist seem rather likeable. - roenick97
I disliked Dubinsky, Avery and Rupp before 24/7. But Boyle, Callahan, Girardi, Lundqvist, Del Zotto and even Prust I came away liking. They were down to earth guys. |

Bill tweeted yesterday that the rest of the east has to be hoping for a keystone state showdown in the first round. Nobody would want to play either team. - BulliesPhan87
This is why they shouldnt give division leaders a guarenteed 1-2-3... And why they shouldnt do round 1 and round 2 conference battles in the playoffs....
Right now it should be:
Rangers- Caps
Penguins- Ottawa
Flyers- Florida
Devils- Boston
Not

Apparently the flyers are only 11th in the league in man games lost? Would have thought it was more? We may have more individuals that have sustained injuries than other teams though. - funmaster18
That was an article from last month, so it is a bit outdated. They've probably clawed their way into the top 5 or so. |

With the Flyers and Pens it's the caliber of the players they lost. Those stats include guys from other teams that would have trouble cracking the line up. |

certainly with the losses of timo, meszaros, kubina, lilja, and talbot in recent games they've climbed the ladder. |

Yea not to mention when it rains it pours... There was a strech when most of our injuries were forwards like Briere-JVR-Jagr... then there were 2 different streches when it was just our defense that was hurt like Gus, Pronger, Coburn and more currently Timonen, Kubina, Meszaros, Lilja... |

There was a stretch when we were without 5 of our top 6 d-men. That's tough to overcome but they did it. Despres and Morrow are going to torture you bastards for years to come |

Superficial analysis: probably some natural regression to it. Rangers don't really hold a distinct territorial advantage in games like the Pens, Bs, or Wings and Hank wasn't going to be stopping pucks at a 94% clip for a whole season. |

There absolutely should be a reward for winning the Division. It's the same in in every major sport. |

True, but they have not been as good in limiting the second chances and owning the area in front of the nets like they have done to the Flyers this year. |
