What i hate about these things is the first thing i wonder is---could he have gotten surgery earlier and had shot at coming back for the playoffs instead of waiting a month before making the decision??

The thing is it probably happened when he went out in that case no he couldn't have gotten it done earlier.

I don't think a shot in the spine is what they meant when they said surgery.

Edi: I have had those and seriously you aren't supposed to go and play NHL hockey afterwards or the pain is going to come right back.

Besides the shot does 2 things... Numbs the pain, and reduces the swelling of the disc...

If it was an injection I doubt an announcement would have even been made. They probably already tried that even though like I said earlier it's really a shot in the dark.

That said, Gus has really impressed me these past 5 or so games.

i went to a police station in the city the person hit my car and they told me they couldn't accept an accident report from me since i'm from another city and i had to go to my respective city

so i go to that police station and try to file a report, they tell me i can't file a report there because the accident didn't happen their city

That's nice I've had 5 in the past year and they didn't do jack for me and I need surgery. It all depends on the nature of the herniation.

If Eskin heard surgery, then it's 99% sure that it is surgery and not a shot.

As a matter of fact, you rarely get a herniated disc and then all of a sudden have surgery. It is more likely it started when he left the line-up and they chalked it up to a pulled muscle until they got an MRI...

There was no announcement. Eskin got it from the doctors, who are also the Eagles docs. Just like he got the Carter & Pronger news during the playoffs.

You cant eat or drink before hand, have to go to a medical surgery center... In essance the shot is a form of surgery... Its not like a shot in the knee or any other joint..

I beg to differ with him because if you called 911 from your cellphone a police officer would have been sent to the scene and a report would have to be filed upon finding a crime committed. Was this in like LA because I don't see how this guy says nothing would have been done.
