Has the reason been announced why they waited almost three weeks to have surgery? I apologize if this was already answered, I don't have time to research.

Did Meszaros blow a disc in his back in practice? IIRC, he played on March 1, and left practice the next day I believe.

So no Pronger obviously, and now the Ashbee award winner from last season is gone for the remainder of the year. Things never change with this Franchise.

Somebody suggested with spinal injuries they have to wait to see how it responds to other treatment before opting for surgery. Perhaps somebody who knows better can clarify.

To each his own, and in my opinion I don't agree. You win your division, you get a top seed. That's how it's been and how it should be.

I'm all for going back to the East/West conferences of my youth, but that's not feasible with 243 teams.

If he can develop his game into something more resembling an NFL quarterback then yes I think he would be. He is still young and has a long way to go in his NFL career. If there's one thing about Andy Reid, he can coach up a quarterback. Ask Brett Favre.
