Great list unfortunatly none of that is going to happen. Garth alredy made his moves now for the offseason so there is no pressure. WE signed a goalie and made a trade with Boston he is done until at least 2014

Not really. They aren't signing Parise to a $10M per year deal AND Suter to an $8M per year deal. That brings them way over the cap floor, closer to the cap ceiling. They are a couple of million under, if that. Once they re-sign PAP, they will easily be over the floor. Wang is losing $20M a year on the Islanders; he's not spending much past the floor. Please get Parise and Suter out of your heads; winning teams can offer them similar money. Detroit and Los Angeles have been waiting for Parise; big spending teams always look for defense.

1. Cap is back.. which may be somewhat appropriate b/c he wasn't the guy that signed Pandolfo, Reasoner, Staois, Wallace and traded for Rolston. He has done what they told him to and will be rewarded another year for it. Much to the chargrin of all on this board.

2. Snow will either spend a fortune on a Suter type player or have to trade some of his beloved prospects and picks to get one signed long term on a underperforming team with no cap room.

3. We will sign Pa but for too much money.. JT type money b/c that is what the rest of the league will be offerint him. They will also sign a couple of Vet D-men like Jurcina types that will be non events.

4. To appease all the extremely angry fans they will buy out DP as an olive branch.

5. they will invite a bunch of washed up bums to a try out in camp and at least 1 or 2 will make team.

Isles are still about 10 mill under the floor for next year right now. If niño goes to Bridgeport that is another 3 million and if god visits long island and dp retires, there s another 4.5 away from floor
