Maybe for a little bit, but that line has worked for 3/4 of the season. I think we are a little fatigued and a combo switch could spark our players again. But that first line has given us a legit first line all season, and elias provides plenty of secondary scoring and Clarkson is on the third. I don't think we should make so many rash decisions at this stage. Our lines have been good for most of the year, and even though we are not playing well, we are still 6-4-0 in our last ten. We are not on a huge slide and we've still found ways to win.

I just don't think we are going to get the most out of Parise with Kovalchuk on the same line. He has been shooting a lot less than he has in the last few seasons hes been healthy. In the playoffs we need our best players to step up. I know they have been good at times so PD probably is not going to separate them. I can see why he won't.

So I was at Central Park restaurant last night for the Marty autograph signing. When i was up there I asked him if he could give us a couple more years and he replied “at least one”

sounds like his mind is made up

If our younger prospects are not going to start for the Devils, they should not play...it's not gonna do them any good to sit as martys backup...

They will benefit from getting starting minutes in the AHL even if they are NHL ready...

Frazee would be the exception because he has been around for a little while.
