Sedin's hit was a Kronwall on the level of clean to Matt Cooke

Perhaps I'm an idiot, but it took me reading that 4 times before I figured out what the heck you might be trying to say.

So, there's a game tonight right?

Who cares about the 6th place Hawks, who we won't meet again until next season, how are we going to stop the D train?

Did you read the "Stevens" one earlier? It helps to make more sense, with Cooke being a "10" on the scale...

Gonna be tough to focus on the game tonight for the Nucks. Maybe it will be a good thing that Daniel is out. Could spark the guys to play better knowing they are missing their top scorer.

Ideally they do. I wasn't crazy about the Weise-Henrik-Raymond line last night. Hopefully, they pull it together and Henrik turns back into the sniper he was 2 years ago.

I'm not crazy about Weise one bit. I liked what he brought early in the season, but that was with me thinking he'd fight often, and actually throw punches in his fights.

I like that we have another game hot on the heels of last night. I'm banking/hoping that even in the loss it was the bell ringing we needed (insert Rocky theme song) to get into playoff mode. Tonight will tell.

Weise is vanilla paste.

He's just not a liability out there most of the time, and I'm ok with that.

Remember he's a rookie.

Is Duco the smaller red headed guy? I think I remember seeing him earlier. Scrappy guy right? I thought Weise would bring a lot more toughness to the Canucks but I haven't seen anything from him yet. If you're a 4th liner, you should have fought last night.

He actually has had some great games, hitting and puck pursuit, but game in game out, I don't notice him. And the lack of fighting from the 4th line is something you hate to see when they aren't providing much else.

Did anyone else would of liked to see Higgins and Hansen play with henrik and put Raymond and kickassian play with pahlsson? I think having Higgins playing with henrik could be a good combination.

Volpatti's the fighter. He's almost back from injury. Perfect timing.

So far I liked Bitz more than all the other fringe meatballs that have rotated through the 4rth line with the exception of Kassian who is in a different situation.

Bitz>Volpatti, Weise, Oreskevich, etc...

Duco to me is a little more specialized being a relentless hitter/pest and I would love to see him enter a game or two down the stretch.

Anybody have any thoughts on what has gone wrong with the Canucks defense lately? Is it just a confidence thing? They were pretty sound through the first 2/3 or 3/4 of the season but they seem to be running around a lot and allowing way too many shots.

Not sure if it's been posted, but pretty fair assessment on what should transpire after last night from one of the best ref's of all time:

The biggest problem is Bieksa. Not just his mistakes with the puck but he doesnt have a clue where to be and who to cover. It makes everyone around him look bad.
