I'd have an easier time stomaching the divisional seed (particularly the SE division) if there were no loser point. It seems the NHL can't decide whether it wants a split decision or a winner, goes to show you CAN have your cake and eat it too.

At the very least divisional winners should only be given home ice in the first round so 4th instead of 3rd. You shouldn't be benefitting by finishing 6th...

I love PO atmosphere.
