If there's one thing we know by now it's that the Flyers seem to NEED to fall behind in order to get the intensity level up, and get emotionally into a game.
Falling behind is, in a sick way, a GOOD thing for the Flyers. We may hate it, but it's just the way this team operates.
Fear not, the Flyers will still win this game.

i've heard good things about him. be awesome if he could be next year's matt read - flyerscup2011
He's more third line center than 20 goal rookie. But he plays a good gritty game. Gets under skin and works hard. |

Just what you want to do while you are on the PP, go backwards. |

today they seem to be playing that type (lull you to sleep) of game, and it's working.... for one period atleast - flyerscup2011
That period was all about the Flyers not executing. Very little to do what Tampa Bay did. |

I'm willing to be patient with Schenn, he's shown flashes of being an effective player, but he's contributed very little the last two months. - PLindbergh31
I would be patient for sure. Dont give up on the kid or anything but he's hit a wall really (frank)ing bad.

They have given up a NHL leading 252 goals, and are playing with a minor league defense core, and an old man in goal. How does that translate to lulling an opposing team to sleep? - PLindbergh31
Well........Im asleep...... |

What the (frank) was that? A steaming pile of poop period against a team who's defense core is being held together by spit and glue, with a 42 year old stiff with a .880 save %.
If, and when JVR gets back, at this point he should replace Schenn. He's done absolutely nothing for two months. 1 goal in his last 19 games, and how is it possible to have 3 assists in 47 games?
Losing a defensive zone draw with 6 seconds costs them dearly. Raped at the faceoff dot in that period.
Sweet drop pass by Carle to Briere. - PLindbergh31
what it is, is infuriating. it makes me want to maim things.
they have five rookies amongst their group of 12 forwards, which is a lot to ask of any team. schenn has clearly hit the wall.
didn't like the malone goal. bryz get's beat high blocker side quite a bit. that was from some distance and unscreened. save he should make.
they get swarmed defensively by virtually every team they play. i do not see the kinds of defensive effort that tampa just displayed by most teams on a nightly basis. everyone brings against the flyers though.
what's a flyers game without them being down 2-0 at home, with a goal allowed in the first or final minute? |

Briere did a poor job there, but a player shouldn't be put in that position. Was a bonehead pass. |

Pretty much. Still plenty of time to right the ship. Have to get the next goal. |
