they were too cute in the first. not really the rest of the game. hammered a lot of pucks from the middle of the ice, but a lot of blocked shots and loose pucks in the slot they could never get their sticks on.

let's not forget the stamkos goal with 1 second left in the (frank)ing period in which he of course fanned on his initial shot.

These games happen. I dont like that they happen, but they do. Overwelm the opponent and every mistake ends up in your net. Theyre not finishing first and still control finishing fourth, not that I think it matters. I want the Rags. The Pens will be an absolute war and I dont want to deal with that in the first round. Just my opinion.

What I saw was looking for the pretty pass.

They had that sequence where all they did was point shots and looked for rebounds. This team needs more of that. Using Giroux along the wall is getting predictable.

As it stands Carle had the GWG. It is what it is.
