Any player who cares would of done the same exact thing. He didn't play well but I wouldn't put the entire blame on Carle. The Flyers had plenty of chances tonight and the PP was brutal.

I watched about 3/4ths of it last week...should probably just rewatch it tomorrow

He didn't play well tonight. The team gave up too many prime scoring chances. That Stamkos goal was ridiculous (hell of a shot). No reason to keep giving up breakaways when your on the PP.

Honestly. It seemed like half their meager shot total was breakaways. That's the Flyers trying to be too fancy and not rotating back to the point. I can't stand the lack of responsibility on the PP when they cycle and a forward doesn't move back to the point.

Seems that he took a shot off his foot or ankle in warm ups and decided to tough it out. Guessing that he got x-rays after to be safe, Holmgren says no injury, so I'm guessing they were negative and he's got a bad bruise and soreness.

Definitely going to stiffen up over the next day or two, but it should be fine if X-rays are negative. As long as they stay healthy there is no point to stress about 1 loss at this point, having clinched. Get after the Leafs Thursday and keep rolling.

The Long Goodbye is sort of weird. Not bad at all, but it's got a different vibe to the earlier movies...Elliot Gould isn't Bogie, ya know?
