I don't see Eller playing lazy hockey when he is out there, he does what is asked of him. - Oilhab
Perhaps they should ask more. |

Just imagine where the team would be if he didn't take those 60 PIMS. - Oilhab
I'm sure Kaberle, Weber and Campoli would have played better if it wasn't for Eller. |

If you think I'm a Tyler Bozak fan, you're wrong.
Still I don't understand the reasoning for this answer. |

If the Leafs land Galchenyuk I'll be pissed, they had better start winning those damn suckers. - jaymster790
If Montreal has the 3rd or 4th pick, and Grigorenko is gone, they should draft Galchenyuk. Hell, I think they should draft Galchenyuk regardless, but they probably won't if given the choice between Grigorenko and Galchenyuk. |

True, and I'm not so much criticizing as saying what I think he needs to do going forward.
Contrary to others, I don't think another year in the AHL would've helped Eller that much...he was almost a point per game player there for a full season...he needed to see where he was at in the big league. Now he knows...he's got two seasons in, it's time for him to step up next season. - number_23
He is showing progression in each year.. unlike you, so yes he is useful.. again, unlike you... |

Funny how Latendresse, at 18, 19 and 20 scored 16, 16 and 14 goals, for roughly the same total of points as Eller and yet, Latendresse was a bust and a waste of a roster spot...
But hey, Eller is 22 and will only get better! - Pecafan Fan
It didn't help Gui's case that he was mentally incapable of following instruction such as "stand here, right in front of the net". |

Galchenyuk played with Yakupov last year. One could argue that since Yakupov is again tearing up the OHL, Galchenyuk was just collecting free points last year. He has a lot to prove. He came back for 2 games and got injured again. |
