Yeah, I had a first hand look at that abomination.

I met a Leafs fan (and a Sabres fan) at a bar last night, which is very VERY rare for Savannah, Georgia. I gave the guy so much poop about connolly, and all he could do was agree with me.

Ben Scrivens will be called up for the Marlies to back up Rynnas.

I was talking to a guy at Chicago O'Hare airport earlier this week who was wearing a Sabres hat with a full suit.

I was wearing a Sabres polo dress shirt... we had a good talk.

Hockey fans are few and far between down here, as you can imagine, so two in one night was a surprise. I had a good friend that was a huge Caps fan (a legit, pre-Ovechkin Caps fan) but he moved, so now I have to watch by myself. Savannah is about as far from a hockey town as you can get. It's my least favorite thing about the city, though I'm glad I don't live in a rival hotbed or something.

Thought a good laugh was needed.

The Leafs are eliminated... and hte marlies have one of the best records in the AHL.

That sucks..

Maybe the Leafs should just sign a guy to a 10 day contract to finish the year like Martin Gerber, Patrick Lalime, CuJo, Toskala... I'm sure there are other guys that recently retired that are still in shape..

As i've stated before... there are a few statistical milestones that would make this season a lot nicer..

Stafford, Pommer, Vanek, Myers, and Ennis are all pretty close.

I didn't read all the pages, but do you think with the flower letting up 10 goals in 2 games and being pulled from 1 game, they will rest him?

Or with Philly 2 points behind will the push him (and maybe break him) to keep the 4th spot?

I have no idea what they will do with the goalies tonight. It will be Fleury or Johnson, Thiessen is back to the AHL.

I'll post whatever updates I see from their practice today for you guys.

I think there's a good chance Ottawa could miss. They have 5 games left; three against playoff teams (Bos, NJ and Phi) and two against non-playoff teams (NYI and Car), but NYI is definitely on a nice roll so we shall see. Not saying we have an easier time, but I like our chances better

Ha. That was the first thing I thought when I read that this morning.

I think there's a good chance Ottawa could miss. They have 5 games left; three against playoff teams (Bos, NJ and Phi) and two against non-playoff teams (NYI and Car), but NYI is definitely on a nice roll so we shall see. Not saying we have an easier time, but I like our chances better

I can see this happening... But who knows, boston played like a joke last night and the rest can be hit or miss.

I'd rather the Sabres win out and TAKE the 7th spot away!
