Oh I completely agree with you.. I was speaking in terms of Lindros being a more physically dominating character on the ice.
Forsberg is my favorite player of all time. Here is a guy who was about 6' 200lbs but would back down from nobody. The thing with Forsberg was that he always inspired me. He had no quit in his game, and it really burned me that people threw fits about him coming and going from the game. The guy wanted to play the game more than just about anybody. He would play in all areas of the ice, and muck and grind when need be, but he just wasnt as physically menacing as Lindros. Its not a shot at him either.
Lindros may possibly be (as someone said earlier) a once in a lifetime combination of skill and size. He could do anything.. and unfortunately only concussions could stop him.. and they did. - jak521
I agree with you. I don't know any player who brang (brought, for those who are petty about these things) the combination that Lindros did.

So is see Bryz practiced but still has discomfort and probably can't play until the Rangers game Tuesday. I think this is wise..no need to rush him for the sake of the 4 seed even though I'd like them to have it.
I know it's been discussed many times about Bob's trade value etc.. This is why you need two solid tenders not just a clear #1 and a 500 K backup that can't carry the mail to an extent.

My Spidey sense says yes.
EDIT: Smokes. IMDB says she has two flicks in post, two in pre, one just completed and one filming now. Busy girl. |

Nope. Just like Mat Karl, you are held to a higher standard here. |

Don't worry. I think the powers that be around here will re-up you @ $3.5M over 3 years this summer. |

Trading Bob or keeping Bob should be predicated on his value. They could have a solid back-up like Biron for similar or less money, and be secure, and get valuable assets for Bobrovsky...maybe.
I'm not sold that Bob has a lot of value in a trade. There's the possibility that some teams that have good young back-ups and entrenched starters may decide to move that back up. If that happens, Bob will be the third target of most teams. |

Toronto needs a goalie, let's take advantage of it. |

Toronto needs a veteran goalie. Cut bait with Gustavsson, and get a good, solid veteran to split time and mentor Reimer, who can carry the ball if he falters. |

If the Leafs were smart, they'd have him exploring the Trans-Canada Highway westward. |

Given his draft record, I wouldn't want him doing hands on scouting...oh, you mean something else. |

I don't see anyone overpaying for Bob and I also think we need the youthful depth at that position. |

They could if multiple team show serious interest........It could happen with no CBA and cap figure coming when free agency starts, teams have to operate under an assumed number all while knowing the cap "could" go down whenever a new CBA is completed.
Knowing BOB is under contract at a very affordable salary could intrigue teams.
Time will tell. |

There will be a Cap number for teams to work with. What I think is going to happen is that there will be an across the board reduction in player salary as a means for the players share to get closer to the 50% mark. |

And Bob Daily also told them to spend wisely that there may not be anything in the new CBA to bail them out.
And the cap number is not going to be set in stone like previous years.
How fast or what will be in the new CBA is unknown since they aren't even talking yet |
