I hate Saturday afternoon games. Some of us have to work Saturdays, NHL!!

Ottawa's a dangerous team. Flyers need to come out strong and play hard for sixty minutes. No looking ahead to tomorrow's game against the Penguins.

The thing I like about the afternoon games (appart fr their now improving aft record) is that it is easy for me to take my 7 yrold son who has become almost a bigger flyers addict than me.

A win today is key and will set up a great game on Sunday.

If I didn't have to work, I would have a much better attitude towards afternoon games...as it is, I will struggle to listen/watch it.

If you guys could please just let us get a point it would really be appreciated as sadly I don't belive the habs or leafs will be helping our playoff chances tonight.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect much out of them. If the two were playing each other, they'd probably find a way to both lose.

I didn't like the Gustafsson-Kubina pairing last game, so I'd be willing to give that one a shot. But I REALLY don't like a Carle-Gustafsson pairing, either.

Gustafsson was returned to the Phantoms yesterday and played last night.

Well guess it was good to at least hear Bryz practiced yesterday.

Imho, it was the wrong play. The best thing for Bryz's injury is rest. I would have rested him all weekend and then had him do a light workout on monday to see if he could go on tuesday. If he was feeling well enough that he wouldn't compromise the team then I'd let him play. I have this strange feeling that with him practicing yesterday he is going to try to play tomorrow.

That being said, I know he is a competitor and he wants to play. But the bigger picture right now is being as healthy as can be for the playoffs. I just hope he doesn't rush to come back too soon.
