Flip a coin and let's just skip the games. - keatondixon
Nah. Let's play the game and who cares who the tougher matchup is, who has the better goalie, or more talent. Blah, blah, blah. Just drop the puck and let the players decide. |

Coin flipping doesn't bring in playoffs revenue, I don't think you'll get Mr. Snider or Mr. Lemieux to buy into it. |

Well that's good then. Because if the Flyers are a 50/50 bet to beat the Pens. Then the Pens are only a 50/50 bet to beat the Flyers. Like the odds. - MJL
Fair point. But they would probably be a 70/30 favorite to beat the Panthers. |

Make up whatever odds you want to. You drop the puck and play the games. Anybody can beat anybody.

well that was interesting. let's hope they don't do anything stupid to at least not get a point. ottawa better make a damn good play on their own to win this thing. the flyers have outplayed them by a wide margin through 2 periods.
bob get his head on straight.
loved the jagr hit.
voracek....so close.
the league needs to rework the rule book to not disallow goals like the one that very easily could have gone the other way. should have been a penalty to boot.

It seems that will be New Jersey's destiny. Even before the it looked as definite as it does, I've felt the Flyers were due for a dance with the Penguins. Once it begins, let us hope playoffs hockey makes heroes of this young cast and crew. |

i hear you, but playing devil's advocate here, why doesn't vegas just make every game in every sport a 50/50 pick 'em? they have odds for a reason. |

Here's what I want to see. I want to see next Sunday's, not this Sunday's game. Be for the EC title. |

Yup. It will probably be a great series to watch, and exciting as all hell, but it's going to be a tough series to win. I'm looking forward to watching it. |

Yes, because it's sports gambling. And it's about money.

There are few things I want to see more than a Flyers playoffs victory over the Penguins. In fact, a Flyers Stanley Cup may be the only thing on that list. |

it sure is. the odds exist from information, is all i'm saying. of course it's possible any team can win on any given night. |

For those that care, Marc Joanette was saying that the puck crossed the line before the net became completely dislodged on Couturier's goal - Jsaquella
he should have just pointed to center ice instead. i think the fans could have figured out the rest. |

I really don't see how that has anything to do with who's going to win a playoff series. Odds also change depending on who most of the money is being bet on.

Mookster. Mr. Peters the Eagles best lineman is part of Pretzelville. He ripped his achilles 3 months before training camp even starts. Your thoughts sir?
Just a hunch, I will be back on the beat before Peters. |
