Yea, I feel sorry for fans of teams that have no strong rival from year to year. I always look forward to seeing the Flyers on TV, but I know today will be another NBC lovefest for the Pens. What do you think the over/under will be for the number of times the anouncers (mcQuire, especially) will say, Sidney Crosby" during the pre-game and first period.

I don't like the Rangers very much, but it is a much different hatred then the hatred towards the Pens. I think it has to do with the league bias towards the Pens.

I think next season will be his last year. But I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he retired this summer, either.

Also, does anyone think Richter gets killed for the Dineen goal like Flyers fans kill Hextall here for the Claude Lemieux goal? Probably not.

So at this point, all that is really left is to battle for home ice advantage? There is the SLIGHT chance Pitt jumps up and takes the #1 spot or that we fall back to the #6 spot... but both are extremely unlikely.

Would be a pretty interesting dynamic if next Saturdays game was to determine home ice in the first round... kind of turns into an 8 game series... brutal.
