Lebrun? - habby
I think the funniest thing would be if at the end of this it turns out McGuire was never even contacted at all.
the TSN990splosion would be epic. |

I'm surprised he's not reporting on who hasn't been contacted.
I've got to say he's really plugged in. - habby
All I know is that he hasn't contacted QP yet |

agents usually recruit their client bases based on scouting. they sit in arenas for long, long hours when they start off and have to evaluate which players could pay off and then develop them much in the same way a team would. The top agents have smaller agents doing that for them so one could say the jobs are actually very similar. |

I don't believe so, no. But he was a big fan of Star Trek, and he DID stay at a Holiday Inn Express recently. |

Didn't know about Gillis and Burke.
I guess it's a good thing they had him over for an interview...it's just that he rolls his "R"s and it gets on my nerves. |

I think it's more a case-by-case evaluation of the individual...the guy knows hockey players...and sometimes they even recruit them prior to junior...
A guy like Gillis is doing ok in Vancouver...Maloney doing ok in Phoenix. So it's not a given that he'd be a good GM, but I wouldn't rule it out either.
