Why not? Assuming he was cleared for it what would be the harm in skating in warmups? As I said, I thought it was unlikely, but then again I thought it was unlikely he'd be in the stands for the MTL game too, and he was. - BringBack25
I don't know, maybe take an accidental puck or stick to the head?
Big difference between being in the stands versus on the ice.
And knowing what Pronger's situation has been, just like that he was cleared? |

Flyers have the Rags right were they want them. - stveshdy
i'll gladly eat crow, but i'd agree if it were 3-2 (minus the missed crosscheck on coburn and horrendous call on talbot that led to goals) |

How can Torts have that dumbfounded look on his face when the game is 4-1? - eayost
At least the Flyers handed Tortorella his ass in 2004. |

It's within the rules to kill off a PP and overcome a bad call isn't it? |

If the NHL wants to know why it's officiating is poorly regarded, and why the average fan can't follow the "logic" of what is called (or not), it need only watch the tape of tonight's Flyers/Rangers game...
(frank)ing Pathetic.
No call on the stick to Simmonds' face while the Ref stares at the play.
A moment later, a phantom boarding call against Schenn.
Later still, 2 rangers with sticks up vs Talbot...Talbot gets the penalty.
And it certainly looked like too many men on the ice during the PP with Talbot in the box, but nothing was called.
And that's just 2 periods.
What a joke. |

I wonder if Talbot got the penalty b/c he drew the earlier interference call by flopping in front of Lundquist....wasn't much of a cross-check.

There could easily be 2 more penalties a side here.
I'm not a huge fan of not calling the ones in front of your face and then calling something later that is borderline.
Just an ugly game all around. |

What the hell does that have to do with anything?
Did you see Simmonds eat the stick? Did you see the "boarding" call against Schenn? Did you see Richards and Talbot both with their sticks up? |

What it has to do with is that the Rangers have taken advantage of the breaks they've been given. The Flyers haven't.
That being said, it is still one game.

I'm not going to blame the referees for the futility. Not doing it. If you want to, that is your prerogative. |

Nothing to do with the point I was making which is the officiating has been horrible.
Flyers have 2 pp goals and have given up a few as well, including a 5 v 3. And that doesn't include all the turnovers, bad passes, etc.
Still, has nada to do with what I was saying. |
