I understand what your saying. There are other QB that can be taken in round 2 or 3 in this draft. I think Tannenhill is okay and I dont reach for that pick if hes not a franchise type guy. I could be wrong but thats my opinion on him. I do watch a lot of college football, I just dont think hes going to be that type of player. - stveshdy
Ok I respect that. The success rate of qbs drafted in the 2nd and 3rd rounds is mind numbingly bad. I am of the thinking that vick is incapable of winning a super bowl. So this sucks for me |

At least bagman can hold that finger up to say 1. 1 Super Bowl. Eagles fan would have to make a 0 with their hand. Which is lame - Just5
True, but I wasn't born yet so it doesn't count. They haven't even been close in my lifetime and it's getting worse. |

I know its from Milbury, but this quote just cracks me up...
http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=392211
"Crosby gets cross-checked, big whoop," Milbury said. "He said after he came back from his 35th concussion, 'I'm not going to do this anymore, I'm not going to get into those scrums, I'm going to stay away from that stuff' but he couldn't help himself because there is a little punk in Crosby. He's not the perfect gentleman, he's not that little sweet kid you see in all those interviews with his hat pulled down over his eyes. I say screw him, hit him."

I know. Some of these (frank)ing comments sound like they are from a 3 year old. The sky is blue ..no it's not..
Question. Did the team start Bryz last night so he could test his foot and maybe get back into game shape? Seems to me that it might have been prudent to rest him longer. |

I think he needs to get unrusty and needs to know how it feels to play on it. It won't heal more slowly, he needs to feel it and gain confidence that he'll be ok. I'm fine with him playing. I'd hate him to come into the playoffs cold and/or tentative. |

The Flyers are going to have to play Boston or NYR after round one (if they win against Pitts). They struggled against both of those teams so they will have to play much better no matter what. - stveshdy
How do you figure the Flyers are going to have to play Boston or the Rangers in the second round? |

Expecting Boston to win but wouldn't be shocked if Ottawa won.
1) NYR
5) Flyers
6) NJD
7) Ottawa

It is an assumption but the odds would favor a Boston/NYR second round matchup. |

My guess is Hank is telling Hartnell that he deflected Lilja's shot, and should get credit for the goal. Just a guess though. Could easily have been a discussion about hair care products. - BringBack25

Stopped following Adam Proteau yesterday after his endless insults at Milbury. When one slings mud, he gets dirty, too.
I detest the Hockey News anymore. It isn't what it was when Bob McKenzie was there. |

Well the Eagles think otherwise because they believe Vick can win a Super Bowl. Will find out soon enough if he is good enough to get the job done. I dont have a problem with the Eagles selecting a QB later on in the draft such as Nick Foles. |

The 35th concussion comment was just stoopid though. I know he's half talking out of his ass for tv effect, but that type of comment is just plain disrespectful and irresponsible, no matter who he is talking about. |

No. Im saying a possible matchup for the Flyers would be Boston or NYR for the second round. The odds favor that if they beat Pittsburgh in round one.
I'm not implying Boston/NYR playing each other. |
