Sometimes matchups work in a funny way. A few years back in the Northeast Divisions the Leafs could not beat the Sabres, the Sabres could not beat Ottawa, and Ottawa could not beat the Leafs. Sometimes it is just the way it is. - Gunner Staal

Not me! But I couldn't be happier. I wish I could get over relationships as quickly as I got over those trades. |

i think they can but the injuries will make it hard we need a round to have our guys heal up |

The issue I have witht us coming 6th is that I don't think NJ beats Detroit in Detroit. We can for sure lose our last two games, but I think it's all but set we play Pitt. I'd much rather play Florida though. - Hextall271
yes, I'd much rather play florida as well, but after that, we'd have to play the Rangers and obviously, we can't beat the Rangers. I think it'll be as follows.
NY Rangers v. Caps - Rangers in 6
Boston v. Ottawa - Boston in 6
Florida v. Devils - Devils in 5
Pens v. Flyers - Flyers in 7 (2 ot games)
Then it would seed as follows:
Boson v. Flyers and Rangers v. Devils. |

My biggest concern is having Grossmann back for round one of the playoffs. |

No I get that, and I think that's what the point of the blog is. To identify specific things in these games that lead to a lousy season series for the Flyers. Not just "make excuses" |

The Flyers are going to have to play Boston or NYR after round one (if they win against Pitts). They struggled against both of those teams so they will have to play much better no matter what. |

wonder what they were saying? My guess is that Lundqvist was asking if Hartnell knew of a good place to buy jeggings in Philly. |

Without looking at the season series. I think Ottawa has a real chance against boston |

I was upset when the Bills traded Peters, I won't miss Bell at all, just being honest. |

Yes to the Bills fan part.
Bell fell out of favor in Buffalo on a team that everybody seems to think needs a LT. Perhaps he catches on with PHI and does well, but he does seem to be injury prone. I thought his play was very average. Which sometimes is good enough. |

They said the same about Peters in Buffalo. Bell has been injury prone but they need a LT with experience who can fill in and do a decent job. |

My guess is Hank is telling Hartnell that he deflected Lilja's shot, and should get credit for the goal. Just a guess though. Could easily have been a discussion about hair care products. |
