I've liked it better in here during our playoff matchups. At least Pens fans don't troll their own threads.

We don't need to, plenty of other teams think we care what they think of us.

the closer you are to danger, the further you are from harm. I like it.

The best part of Torts boohoo was how he called the Pens an arrogant orginization. I'm sorry, but, whose owner said they were gonna win the Cup again around 3/4 months ago?

who takes Orpik's spot on the blueline when Orpik misses the whole first round vs Flyers while he serves his suspension?

Orpilk will get the same amount of games that Rupp got for kneeing Staal and having Staal miss 17 games.

Orpik is gone, repeat offender.

game was over, 4-1 under 5 minutes left in meaningless game

could get entire playoff suspension

I kind of think that Orpik will get a suspension. He has been suspended before for the hit on Cole and a knee on Franzen, but I don't believe that he is considered a repeat offender (something about 18 months). But he'll get a couple games.

Again, should get the same amount of games that a ranger got suspended for kneeing a Penguin and putting him out for six weeks!

You're dreaming!!! Maybe if Stepan doesn't get up. Don't you know how the NHL works yet? Maybe a game.

So THIS is what having a ref is like...it actually makes the blog readable...who'd have thunk?

In other news, Even though Geno only needs one for 50, there's no way he's playing Saturday...right? I mean, that would be right up there with playing 5 forwards on the PP and leaving 58 on the bench...and Bylsma would never do that....oh...err..crap!

Orpik was positioning himself for a hit, even was putting his arms up to get a pice of Stepan and knees colided. Prob deserved 5 mins, but like Rupp on Staal, no more than that

Yea it was. But if you watch it at full speed I'm not sure what he's supposed to do when Stepan tries to get out of the way at the last second.

He's not going to get suspended. Stepan will. It's a conspiracy that Bettman wants the Penguins to win.

Put it this way..remember OV8's knee on knee on Gonchar a couple years ago? Slightly worse than that....which is to say absolutely a penalty...reckless, but not dirty. I'd say a fine or maybe a game, but with the wacky NHL wheel of discipline, who really knows?
