Ovechkin sticks his knee out. He has it aimed the whole time again in my opinion. If you see that with Orpik then I must be really biased. |

NHL Network was saying during Caps/FLA highlights that Vokoun's groin looks to be a playoff ending injury. That accurate? - ryman1566
Yeah, the word was that Vokoun was likely done for the year. |

That hit on Briere was clean and hard, as it should be in a late season game between two teams poised to meet in the first round.
And please, by all means just try to 'get the season over with' on Saturday. - tangent_man
I'm hoping for the Steve MacIntyre call up!!!

Since the game is meaningless, I think the possibility of an all HB posters roster for each side becomes more compelling and a real possibility...better get my skates sharpened as I wait by the phone waiting for Shero to call. |

I'll have to see the Ovechkin hit again, but it's what I thought of when I saw the Orpik hit. |

Can it be completely meaningless as a lead-in to the first round matchup? I have a feeling it's going to be quite a tilt.

I have a hard time believing we will see 87, 71, 58, 18, or 29 on our side for Saturday |

It'll be interesting to see who gets a rest on Saturday.
I'd like to see Timonen sit this one out, but with Philly's D situation he probably won't. But you never know.
Jagr, too. Also doubtful, though, given it's the Pens.

It sounds like Grossmann will live. With the way that some of the Flyer fans were talking it sounded like Laviolette had taken him behind the barn and ended the suffering. |

The good thing for Stepan is it didnt look like it caught him in that bad a spot. More of a charlie horse than a ligament area. Not like Staal earlier where I feared the worst. |

But according to Ranger fans Stepan literally died from the hit. |

who takes Orpik's spot on the blueline when Orpik misses the whole first round vs Flyers while he serves his suspension? - jimbro83
Serious - whole first round? LOL ... you are an idiot. Maybe two games.

Playing NHL 12 Be A Pro, drafted in the 2nd round by the......Capitals ugh. Could be worse I guess, it could have been the Rangers or Flyers. I would have restarted I think. |

Game is meaningless. I would bring up the Baby Pens and play the Flyers. I wouldn't risk anything against those goons. |

You've got to realize the genius that wrote that. Between him and the other two trolls that come on here it's difficult to go through a post of theirs without laughing hysterically about how clueless they are. But hey Crosby is the one who whines. Typical hypocrites. |
