Looking at the lines...I see Tangradi with Crosby.
We all know how he makes the guys around him better...if Tangradi scores a goal tonight, we might have to move Sid up into Mario's neighborhood in that regard.

I would love to see Tangradi start producing with Sid. That would open up all kinds of options.
Correct my interpretation of the standings if i'm wrong, but if the Penguins (1) get a W tonight, (2) a OTL w/ a Flyers OTL, or (3) a Flyers L then the Pens clinch the 4th seed, correct?

I think the Pens just need to not lose a point in the standings to the Flyers tonight in order to clinch.
We are 3 points up right now, but the Flyers have the tie breaker. As long as we are still 3 points up at the end of the night, we clinch.
So if the Pens win, it doesn't matter what the Flyers do, or if the Pens get an OTL, the Flyers either have to get an OTL or regulation loss, or if the Pens lose in regulation, then the Flyers have to lose in regulation.

1. Penguins win. that's all we need to do to lock it up.
2. Flyers lose, Penguins lose in OT
Those are the two scenarios where the penguins can lock it up before Saturday. We need to be up by 3+ points because Philly owns the tiebreaker. Each team has a possible 4 points left and we have a 3 point edge. So the key is Philly losing. If philly loses once, we have the 4th seed. If the Penguins win once, we have the 4th seed.
Also no Flyer fan will admit they would rather play the Panthers except maybe Tangent. It's a macho thing.

As a Flyers fan...
From a what should be an an easier series perspective I would pick the Panthers any day of the week.
From a what would be more entertaining series I would pick the Pens any day of the week.
In the end I want my team to win the cup so i wish they were paying the Panthers because I think the collateral damage will be way less in that series.
Does not mean I am not going to enjoy the next 5-8 games against the Pens including my first game in pitts on sat!
To be honest how a hockey fan would not want to see Crosby ,Malkin, Giroux, Simmonds, Neal, Hartnell, Fleury, Letang and two cup winning coaches going at it is beyond me.
