Yeah. Its a game of matchups. The Flyers have done well against the Pens. I would be more concerned if we opened the playoffs with NYR or Boston because they seem to handle us this year. Once the playoffs start anything can happen as the regular season is a thing of the past.

Schenn is one of those guys I feel that definintely has another level to his play when the big games arrive.

This is what I'm most interested to see from the young players. I think all of Schenn, Read, Simmonds and Coots all have another level of play. I think Rinaldo will not. I hope Read can handle the increased physicality in the PO's as he's probably the smallest in stature. Briere has shown over the years he can do it.

Possibly. Like video review for this kind of thing for example? Institute some sort of challenge system like they have in football?


I don't know why that play pissed me off so much, It just did. I know that if it were the Flyers and not the Kings I would be going berserk.

Don't see that being the case. I don't think the NHL will suspend him more than a game for that incident (if at all). He would miss Saturdays game and be ready for the playoffs.

I watched it and thought it was pretty funny, actually.

The league should suspend their officials for not seeing the play. If they had, it would have been blown down as soon as SJ touched the puck and a penalty for interference would have been called against Clowe.

If Clowe couldn't be identified, then it would have been a bench minor.

That's it. No suspension for Clowe.

The complaints about seeding is legit. Even though people say if your the best team you win anyway, or you will have to face them eventually... its all bs. The truth is, you should be rewarded for the way you play in the regular season against all teams, not if your the best of your division; and you should be seeded as such to have the most favorable match-ups as possible. Really the Flyers should be facing Ottawa with home ice... Rangers and Caps, Penguins, and Florida, and Boston and New Jersey...
