Did something change here. I was expecting JVR around mid 1st round... thats about 10 days... 3 weeks means he missed entire first round This is bad news.
BTW I told you guys Meszaros' surgery wasn't as bad as people thought... they are saying at worse mid round 2.... That is good news. - RooNosHockey
2-4 weeks from now seems like it'll put it deeper then mid 2nd round potentially. |

What should the Flyers Medical staff do in your opinion, to keep these injuries from happening? Are the players on the other teams just tougher? What is the solution? I know one thing. Complaining about it on a regular basis isn't a solution to anything. And the Flyers aren't the only team it's happening to. I watched a Buffalo team last night in a must win situation play without it's top 2 defenseman. - MJL
I command you to go back to bed, and get up on the OTHER side.... The dude was just providing updates and being sacrastic about the poor news... |

Ok. Then whoever at the league told Dreger they couldn't was wrong. Good work league. |

In other news, Derek Stepan is just fine from his knee on knee hit with Orpik. It's actually possible for guys not crumble like a pretzel when they get hit. Who knew... - PLindbergh31
So, never having watched a Flyers game, you haven't seen them repeatedly hit in vulnerable positions, hit hard, hit awkwardly and pop right back up and keep playing. Because it happens in every stinking game.

I guess every knee on knee hit is the same and should have the same result, I don't know.

Of course, Dreger could as easily have checked the rulebook (it is a searchable pdf). But tough to do on a phone if he's not at the old laptop. |
