Once again, thanks. And I agree. - Doogs
No problem. But to be honest with you i was pretty fired up when it first happened. Then i looked back at how the situation unfolded and saw it without blind hatred for the pens (as hard to believe as that is) and realized how the whole situation came about.

I would have been too. But I want to believe I'd rethink after the dust settled. I hope both Grossman and Briere are good for the series. I want to be able to think we beat you at your best.
I don't see that as a major stretch. I'm sure if lavi thought we could score again he was going to try. Maybe I'm the one stretching... but i wouldn't blame him for trying to score again. There is no better feeling than embarrassing a rival on their ice. Plus i think the flyers were trying to get into the pens heads before the playoffs start.
That being said... the hit was borderline but clean imo. Danny should have kept his head up. I understand lavis frustration but some of the blame should he on him for leaving his guys in a vulnerable position. - fecondo
IMO the hit wasn't borderline. About as clean as it gets.

I put borderline just because he put his elbow up a little bit at the end... but that could have just been him trying to regain his balance.. i don't really know. Just like i don't know what the intent behind the hit was. So thats why i put borderline.

I'm sure you would have... you seem to have a level head.
And that's assuming you beat us... which you havent yet

I'm concerned that the team that "survives" this series, may have little left going forward. - Doogs
If this series turns into a war like we're all expecting then yeah i agree with you. It'll be a hard fought series and that'll wear on the winner... then again this is what they do for a living. The winner of this series could also go to the SCF. i guess we'll know in a couple of weeks.
