Considering the max fine for a player is $2500, it isn't hard to get fined more than that (even if Orpik would've gotten fined.)

It is simply REMARKABLE that hit resulted in a game misconduct. It was a borderline penalty let alone a major.

I get along splendidly with my cousin's husband who is a Rangers fan. Rather talk hockey with Rangers fans than other sports with Philly fans. Just my opinion.

I may hate the Rangers, but I respect them and their organization. Never needed league welfare like some organizations and their fanbase has never disappeared despite a dearth of playoff appearances after 1994.

Sour grapes.. Orpik is not dirty. He is in the top of hits every year and has had 2 incidents. Torts whined his way to a fine.

Schenn looks better and better. And he looks better in the middle. Briere should not be playing center next year. Schenn and Coots becoming too valuable down the middle. These playoffs will tell us lots
