What about the Sens?
- KINGKENZO

Yea, just realized that. After the 2nd goal they've picked it up, still WAY early in the hockey game.

I thought the series was starting Thursday?

I could be wrong but I think I heard Wednesday. Either way the Flyers will be ready to play.

Glad to see that the Rags are tanking so they don't have to play the Caps in Round 1

In other hockey news, former Flyers prospect Joacim "Sunshine" Eriksson has lead his team Skelleftea to the finals of the SEL with a mint 1.61 GAA, and SV% of .945 in 9 games.

His team starts the finals vs. Brynas (his former team) on tuesday.

Also from the last time i saw the guy, it looks like he's been hitting the gym...

Flyers could have tanked against Buffalo, to avoid playing the Penguins. They want Pittsburgh, and they got them. Lets see if their decision pays dividends.

Well, luckily Leighton's contract is up after this year, so they could resign him.

Hopefully, Niko and Jocke in the AHL battling it out...

Can never have enough good goalie prospects imo.

Lundqvist determined to finish the season with a worse save % than Mike Smith.

Still has the Vez in the bag, although i'd give to the Quickster.

I don't think it's in the bag by any means. He's got some stiff competition. Quick, Smith to name a few. Lundqvist will most likely win, but I don't think it will be a landslide.

Agreed, speaking of goalies, Bob's play was a typical Flyer goalie performance in past playoffs. Some good saves and some real killer head scratchers. I fully expect Bryz to be top notch in this series, I have full confidence.

Just got home and see we lost 4-2. Have the game on DVR. Is there any point to watching it, or should I just delete it?

I've back read about three pages, and from what I see there, it sounds like delete is the way to go...

Realistically, the Caps deserve the 3 seed the way they've played all year..

Pens can pat themselves on the back all they want about today's game. Today's game was meaningless to the Flyers. We already took the series and we know where and when we begin the playoffs. In my opinion, the fact the Flyers could match the Pens full roster shot for shot without a number of regulars only shows how good and how deep the Flyers are. The Pens could very well take this post season match up...but then again so could the Flyers. No disrespect to the Rangers but I feel whomever wins this best out of 7 series will go to the final.
