Just got home and see we lost 4-2. Have the game on DVR. Is there any point to watching it, or should I just delete it?

I've back read about three pages, and from what I see there, it sounds like delete is the way to go...

That game was kind of a "Calm Before the Storm" game. It seemed like both teams went through the motions.

It'll be a fun matchup again.

If the Cats win, would the Caps play Boston in the first round with Ottawa playing the Rangers? I would love for the Caps to play the Bruins in the first round.

King Henrik buys into his own hype and sports a mask with a crown and the #30 inside it. 2 goals in 2:30 and he doesn't even move. Looking good.

Oh for sure. After what happened last weekend and with the known matchup I expected a little more message sending to be done today.

Both teams were just coasting out there and playing to get through the game as there was zero to play for. Now that the games count I'm ready for the fireworks to begin.

Unless my Caps win and the Panthers lose in regulation. Then Panthers play Rangers, we play Devils and (frank)ing ted Leonsis gets another SE Division banner.

BTW (frank) Captain Nutpunch. I think most of you can agree with that.

So, if the Caps win, they take the third seed and then Ottawa finishes 8th, even though they have 41 wins vs 37 for Fl? Or does Fl need at least 1 pt to finish 7th?

Glen Healey is such a stupid guy. After Berube's comments he stated that the Flyers shouldn't "poke the bear" (Meaning Crosby) and that this series could be over in 8 days because of such comments. He then goes on to name 3 players (Giroux, Timonen and Briere) and says he doesn't see the toughness on our team. It is a fact that we've won the season series and play well against the Pens. The guy has clearly spoke without doing his homework. I'd say Simmonds, Hartnell, Coburn, Grossman, Talbot, Rinaldo and Shelley is plenty tough.

I like Stamkos but is anyone else bothered when a goal scorer of his status gets into talks for the Hart but doesn't get his team into the playoffs? In my mind that has to come into play or else he's just patting his own stats. To me, anything he does unless he gets into the big dance that season is sort of meaningless. 60 is great but make these goals count for something. I can most certainly understand Malkin and Lundqvist's being nominated. If Stamkos should be in the talks for anything it's for the Rocket Rachard but that's pretty much it.

The Hart in my mind should be decided amongs the players who do everything for their team and get the most success from that one player and this includes being a big reason why the team makes the playoffs.

It's his job to score goals. He shouldn't stop just because the team has been eliminated. He isn't padding his stats unless he's cherry picking.

But he'll get the Rocket, I don't think he should win the Hart. I think that's pretty clearly Geno.

I think you missed my point. I don't think Stamkos should even be in the talks for the Hart because his team won't be in the playoffs. He's a fantastic player and obviously can score goals but these goals are without meaning if he can't make the playoffs, there for shouldn't be in talks for any other hardware outside of the Rocket Rachard.
