However, Berube didn’t back down when asked about the melee between his club and the Penguins on Tuesday.
"I've got no problem with what Schenn does," he added. "And if somebody runs [Crosby] over, that's great. They should run him over," Berube told CSN Philly Daily News Live.

Whe its flyer playoff time. I don't think of old flamers - Just5
when it's playoff time, i think of great moments - not just flyers great moments. there are 2 great things about that picture.
1. Lanny, a classy every-man kind of vet won his first cup that year at the end of his long career. Hockey fans everywhere were rooting for him. He hit some milestones that season, and scored a key goal in the series final game. It was awesome to see him win.
2. The Flames knocked out the Habs in their rematch from '86. As if the Habs losing in the Cup Final wasn't good enough, it was even sweeter because they had knocked out the Flyers in the conference final, which of course is the series where Chelios laid out Propp with a cheap shot.
Actually there are 3 great things about that picture.
3. Look at him. Just look at him. It doesn't need any further explanation.

Just an interesting side note. If the NHL seeded their playoffs like the NBA does, where division winners are only guaranteed a top 4 seed so they get a home series in the first round for winning their division, this is how the playoffs would be shaping up.

Some idjit tweeted this morning about JVR being stupid for saying one of the highlights growing up was the NYR winning the Stanley Cup. Really? You're going to criticize a guy for his rooting interest when he was FIVE YEARS OLD? Grow UP already. He wasn't born draft day.

I see that NBC will be televising playoff games across all of their networks. MSNBC, CNBC, NBC sports and NBC proper like they did with the Olympics....good stuff.

They said that every game of the playoffs would be broadcast live between the NBC networks and NHLN.
That is pretty damn sweet. Like a new Rush single being released on April 19th, or a new Rush record coming out in May. It's THAT kind of sweet! - MBFlyerfan

it's amazing how much more sense the nba's first round makes than the nhl's, and then they completely foul it up by not reseeding in the second round. - OrangeBlack27
