So in other news, it was the opinion of one Penguins poster that we're all set to blame the refs for a Flyers elimination over here. Just throwing that out there. |

that is great news -- I'm going to have to apologize to my wife in advance for the next two months! hahaha. Is it Wednesday yet? - flyersfan51
I think my wife is hoping for the Pens in 4.
hockey season is too long for her.

To be fair I think Briere's kids can grow better playoff beards than their dad. |

It's best to just go in there on game days.

I'm going to refrain from comment, I just can't afford it with the fines the NHL is throwing around these days |

Of course, its a built in excuse and the entire league would agree with us!

With all the missing teeth in orange, the Flyers may need to institute a "Jack-o-lantern Award" at the end of each season for best toothless smile. |

I'm pretty iffy about making any point Mike Milbury has approved of, as a rule of thumb. |

They said that every game of the playoffs would be broadcast live between the NBC networks and NHLN.
How sweet is that? - tangent_man
Exceedingly sweet. And the Rangers series is on our off nights. Making it possible to follow both.
Now if there were just some way not to have a 3 pm Sunday game. Altough, it will be convenient if it goes 5 OTs. |

I would draft Brett Keisel from the steelers to play on the 4th line just for his playoff beard alone.
Brett just stand in front of your net and take out any opposing player who stands there.
Can Crosby even grow a playoff beard? - bird_dog
It's not like Danny B has much luck with that, himself.
EDIT: Leight. |

On a related note, a co-worker told me Keith Jones was pushing a pro-playoffs shootouts stance a few nights ago. I didn't see it, but a big -1 to Jonesy if it's true. I'd probably stop watching hockey if it came to be. |

Bo, you seem to have your finger on the pulse of Philly sports. Did they cancel the Soul game that was scheduled for Sunday at 6p? I was just curious. I was sure because of that the games would be Thursday, Saturday Monday.
edit: NM they just posted this.

Yep, I was trying to start a twitter campaign to get them both fired. Sadly it fell well short because I only have about 30 followers and none of them do what I say.

If Briere stood next to Kiesel, his beard would just envelop him...you'd have to send search parties in to find the little guy. |
