I think Kessel can be a lot better if hes protected from goons, and Kadri and Grabovski are guys i think can really get nasty if they have good protection, especially Kadri i think if hes got good tough guys around him he can play with that confidence and swagger and bite he needs to be successful and when he has that game going hes deadly.

I can understand why hes not playing, he needs to harness his skill. If he can harness it and only use it when he needs to he will be better off. He trys to use his hands when he doesnt need to and gets himself in trouble, also his shot and lower body strength need work as he trys to spin off in the boards but gets bumped off, but his strength will come, we really should not give up on him unless its a great piece coming back.

Your joking right? Kadri is a sick player and needs to learn to adapt to the NHL game and learn by himself and progress by himself. Did u go to any leaf games this year? KADRI was a BEAST, bumped off the puck? your kidding me he was BODYING players into the boards guys got some major hits he was pulling when i went to go see them against buffalo and even when i watch on tv. Hes IMPROVED in having a tougher game and finishing checks. But thats his mentality, hes good at stick handling, hes got the moves, hes got the good passes, hes just gotta finish and get some goals along the way.

Boston had to trade Kessel no matter what because he wanted too much money. He pretty much said pay me or trade me. Expect the same attitude when he becomes a UFA.
