So when most of their prospects are still in junior, how can you draw a conclusion on whether the rebuild is going right or wrong when it seems like you've lost patience?

He's adding prospects and adding NHL'ers at the same time while staying young and "trying" to compete.

I get that they've failed, but if you're willing to wait another 3 years a lot of these prospects/young NHL'ers on our roster will begin to pan out.

Yes Burke needs to shut up abuot winning now, but ignore that..it's fluff and nothing more.

Until people stop expecting Schenn to play 26+ minutes and shut down the top lines of their opponents, I won't believe for a second that Toronto fans are actually ready for a rebuild like they say they are.

But everything he said the teams needs is completely accurate...he admitted they failed and the team didn't do what he thought.

we need to get antropov back, he was a first rounder. why did we ever get rid of steen and coivavoooo, they would have helped our first rounder ratio. He mentioned not trading away his 1st rounder this year.

He mentioned shipping out current NHLers that didn't fit into the Big Bodied style of play

He mentioned that he needed to address goaltending and get us a #1 centre

He mentioned that he was going to start moving some of the prospects fromt he Marlies into the NHL club.

And you would have been ok with that...that after almost 4 years of him that he would finally say "ok, now we're going to build through the draft"

If he said that, 98% of Leafs fans would lose their mind and crack again about the Kessel trade and that we could've had Stamkos or Hall/Seguin or Tavares, blah blah blah.
