You realize that if Luongo craps the bed Schneider will be given a shot? - pmg2008
Yup. It's more about the wild card of the Kings than Luongo. When the Kings are on, they're really tough and without Sedin I don't know if the Canucks can effectively counter.
This series, the Blues-Sharks, the Pens-Flyers and Preds-Wings should be the most fun series to watch though. |

Should be a good series; I expect the Canucks to come out gangbusters in the first and Quick to hold the fort. Quick is a good looking goalie. I'd like to see Schneider play. |

As would I. Hard for me to like a divisional rival but I like Ginger Bricks |

Me too; he's funny. Was on HNIC after the last game; very loose and likeable.

Love to see the 'Nucks go down as you predict. I have the higher seed advancing except Fla and PHX |

Just wanted to say that if the rangers were "too much" The series in the regular season wouldn't be 3-1. |

The West
Vancouver over LA
St Louis over San Jose
Phoenix over Chicago
Nashville over Detroit
Nashville over Vancouver
St Louis over Phoenix
a tossup, but I'll take St Louis over Nashville
The East
NYR over Ottawa
Boston over Washington
NJ over Florida
Pittsburgh over Philly
NJ over NYR
Pittsburgh over Boston
Pittsburgh over NJ
The Cup
Pittsburgh over St Louis
HOWEVER...Crosby could be knocked out of the playoffs with another concussion fairly easily. If so, Pittsburgh either loses to Philly or Boston and the Rangers beat St Louis for the Cup (Lundquist is better than Halak). |

I love the Jagar in game 7 prediction! Love it!
I'll say NSH over CHI (or really anyone over CHI as their goalies will flail and their captain is injured). I'll pick the winner from the West to beat out the NYR in the final.
Eat $$$$ NYR. |

Aaron Musick: First round predictions
This the year of the upset? - martok2309
Nashville against Chicago, I would have to say Nashville in that series. To me, Chicago has a lot more holes than they did prior to the trade-aways. Not enough to beat Nashville, but that's just my opinion. |

Captain=no longer injured and should play tomorrow night, Crawford hasn't flailed in about a month now and finished the season up strong (plus has playoff experience)...what else ya got? Most are picking Chi to win over PHX by the way I agree that we MAY have trouble with the Preds., but anyone over Chi is a very very ridiculous statement. |

Phoenix/Nashville/St Louis vs Pens for the Cup. It's tough to choose between those 3 from my perspective. |

The way to beat pitt is give them no room, match their skill. Philly can do both. |

Um yeah actually it is (it's mostly being mentally prepaired)...how many games does Phoenix' star goalie have? Only 3. The more you play, the more you know what to expect. We also have Emery who, although isn't the goalie he once was, has a crap ton of playoff experience if we need to go to him. |

You wish Phoenix beats the Hawks because the Hawks have handled the Blues all year. The Hawks can beat everyone in the Conference in seven games, but LA and Nash |

The 5 game differential is not anything to give an advantage to a goaltender. |
