You wish Phoenix beats the Hawks because the Hawks have handled the Blues all year. The Hawks can beat everyone in the Conference in seven games, but LA and Nash - nickmo2699
Regular season means nothing this time of year, the regular season head-to-head match-ups mean jack poop.
The facts are there, Chicago relies on a more run-and-gun system and has a very shaky goaltender on the backend. PHX, on the flip side, plays a very defensive system, thus the style of play benefits the Coyotes. If Mike Smith is hot and the Coyotes stifle Chicago's attack, you can't rely that heavily on Crawford. |

I have ZERO confidence in either of your goaltenders. Maybe they will surprise me and beat the Coyotes, but I think that what is going to kill your team in the playoffs. |

I think the Hawks will have an easy time with the Coyotes. They have the speed and scoring power to deal with Smith and the trap and they have enough quality defensemen to deal with Phoenix's limited threats up front.
I don't think they can beat just anybody, but they got an easy match up for the 1st Round. |

I am going to disagree with you here. There are no easy matchups in the Western Conference. They Yotes are better than most give them credit for. |

It's going to be easy for me, I'm not even playing... All the teams are fine teams, but some are not meant to move on. LA and Phoenix are those teams. The other match ups are tougher to call. St. Louis is a heavy favourite, but the Sharks could very well be the better playoff team. And who ever bets against Detroit? |

The problem is Aaron is such a reasonable guy that should the Canucks win, he'll just give them props and concede that he was wrong. He takes all the fun out of mocking him by being nice. |

You Canucks fans.
They are predictions, never once did he hold it down as a fact.
Quite frankly, he just thinks that the Kings could upset the Canucks, and thinks that it might happen based on his belief and the way he sees it. I hope the Kings win so all you Canucks fans with your panties in a knot can suck up your over-confidence for your team.
This one feels like the Kings-Wings matchup in 2001 where the Kings stunned the Wings. Luongo usually has a rough first round of the playoffs and Jonathan Quick can take over a game. Factor in the questionable health of Sedin, this has potential for an upset.
That's what he wrote. HAS POTENTIAL..... |

That's what the playoffs are all about. No three point games. No shootouts. Just the better team winning. |

I'm assuming we're talking Richard and not Dan, because we probably all could have been Dan. And for that kind of money, we should have been. |

Well, so much for my Cup prediction. I figured Pittsburgh would score a lot, but not that they would give up 12 goals in the first two games...at home. Their defense looks like Colorado's in the 2010-11 season. |
