Off topic, but after watching the Preds last night I think their yellow home jerseys are growing on me. After watching that for a few minutes and looking over at the Pitt/Phili game it looked like the game was being broadcast in black and white |

Good for Goose damn blackout rules kept me from watching it.What the hell was Shea thinking and why Zetterburg one of the classiest guys in the game ?Stupid ass deserves to be benched.I feel sorry for Nashville being penelized for such a stupid selfish play. |

I dont think hes gonna get any games. Shannahan will have a "meeting" with him and nothing will come of it IMO |

Ya, I dont think the hit was bad. He got Weber on the shoulder more than the numbers but that is definitely what pushed Weber over the edge. Either way, I dont think either is worthy of a suspension |

At the risk of sounding like Rico Martin here is what I would like to see them do.
Trade Vanek our 1st and 2nd to Edmonton for the #1 and draft Nail. He replaces Vanek's loss on the wing and Edmonton gets a proven goal scorer to insert into their top 6.
Trade Roy and Nashville's 1st to Calgary for their 1st and if you still feel froggy about Gaunce it's still probably in the area where he will go.
We get two studs and unload two of the most rotten pieces of the current core. This would also free up a poop ton of cap room for free agents. - Pierceme69
Yakupov is very talented, but I'd be concerned drafting him #1. He relies on physicality for his game and that can be a long term challenge for someone under 6'. He might replace Vaneks offense someday, but not next year. Moving out Vanek I'm not oppos to, but I'd rather do it for someone further along their development curve. |

It'll be a trickle until its time to get mad at Darcy again at the draft.
I'm alright, all over the place. NYC today, Boston Mon-Weds, back to SF for a bit then off to LA next week. Kind of exhausting. |

I think he should get nailed for the rest of the series. That was a total scum move. If the NHL is serious about head injuries, then he's got to go. |

Ted Black:
"I personally judge them on the work they have done since Terry bought the team. As for Darcy, I think you can guess we like the trades and free agent signings. I think the things he has done has been pretty solid."
'The fact that we didn't make the playoffs this year after having high expectations is a disappointment. Sometimes success and winning aren't the same thing."

Don't you see? According to Ted Black the Sabres have had 42 years of success. We're practically the New York Yankees. |

I am probably in the minority here, but I love what Weber did. If Myers did that to Marchand or Bergeron, we'd put a friggin' statue of him outside FN Center. 3 amazing games last night with all sorts of nasty. Round 1 of the playoffs is the best! |
