Been on the season ticket waiting list for 5 years now. Currently number 408. Calling tomorrow when the Sabres office opens to get my two depositis returned to me. I'll not spend a single dime on this team again while Lindy Ruff is coach. They're not worth my money. Let's go Rangers. Win the cup! - lacaprup
That will get Lindy and Darcy fired. How come no one thought of that sooner? |

I have season tickets. My seats are less than half what my friend pays for similar seats at NYR games. I get to see NHL hockey at an affordable price. Sometimes both teams on the ice play NHL hockey, sometimes the Sabres do not.
If a few people with seasons feel the way you do and cancel, I may get to improve my location. Doubt even that happens.
The best part about R&R returning will be Jerry Sullivan's reaction. Can't wait. - Terrier13
I love when people cancel their tickets or drop their place in line. It's good to thin the herd out once and a while and make room for new members.
If you don't want to ever watch Lindy coach again, then sell your tickets game by game. If you don't try very hard, you will break even. If you put a little effort into it, you will make money. The real bonus is once you get over yourself and decide you want to go to games again, you have tickets waiting there for you. For example, if the Lindy Ruff coached Sabres make the playoffs, you'll wish you had a seat and if you held onto your season tickets, then it's just a matter of parting with the cash. But if you "make your statement" and cancel or get out of line, you'll be kicking yourself.
(Of course, I'm speaking in generalities and not directing this at you. I understand you are keeping your seats.) |

I know your question has already been answered, but every game is televised. Either on NHL network or one of the NBC stations (CNBC, NBCSN, etc.) Great coverage this year. |

We bought our seasons for that very reason, to make sure we have tickets for every playoff game. We sell a few games too. Now, if I could pick a few of my neighbors out and convince them to bail on their tickets..... |

I hope you can. I never begrudge anyone how they spend their hard earned cash. Do me a favor though and get some of those miserable SOBs in the 300-level to actually cheer once in a while please. It's like going to a funeral sitting up there. |

This isn't 1930, it's 2012. if I wanted to, I could spend 10 seconds on the internet and have seats to the Rangers/Sens game tomorrow. It's never that hard to get any individual game seat to a Sabre game. In the mean time though, I don't have to have in the back of my head that this retarded organization has been holding a few hundred of my dollars for five years because I'm stupid enough to believe that saying 2+2=5 for 16 years in a row will make it true.
On a side note... the Preds jerseys look fantastic. |

Yeah thanks, I checked NHL Network and there is also an added NBC Sports alternative network for the playoffs on Directv. I just never would have checked CNBC for the game. |

I just think you'll regret it. If you were ever going to really move up in the line, this is the year. Expectations were high and they blew it. Ruff is getting stale and he gets a vote of confidence from his boss. Think of how many other people are going to bail.
Whatever... I would hate to think I invested 5 years and had nothing to show. Especially since the deposit is supposed to be non-refundable. I guess they'll probably back down on that. Good luck |
