Drives me a little nuts, too, when he tries to stickhandle around three guys at the blueline.
His locker room loss would be huge if he moved on. I think people underestimate that. Part of the reason why this team has started to believe that it's never out of a game is Jagr's influence. The young players love the positive reinforcement he gives them, the older players admire his work ethic and never-dying hunger to be a difference-maker. - bmeltzer
I think above all else, Jagr just needs to figure what he needs to adjust to be successful at his age. He needs to realize his limits and make smart plays. I'd say this whole year was an adjustment for him, so who knows, he may come back next a little better. |

Not to change the subject, but sometimes out there it seems like Voracek is a Jagr lite, trying to skate through 4 guys. Sometimes he even gets a shot off but it goes three feet wide of the net. If that kid ever learns to finish and how to pick his moments of when to try and skate through opposing players, he could be an elite forward in this league. |

Lloyd: I'll bet you twenty bucks I can get you gambling before the end of the day!
Harry: No way!
Lloyd: I'll give you three to one odds.
Harry: No.
Lloyd: Five to one.
Harry: No.
Lloyd: Ten to one?
Harry: You're on!
Lloyd: I'm gonna get ya!
Harry: Nuh uh!
Lloyd: I don't know how, but I'm gonna get ya. - hockeylover

I thought he did a better job on Wednesday of dumping the puck in instead of trying to carry through 2-4 players. I agree with everyone else, he isn't the same player that can get away with that anymore and turning it over at the blue line is risky business. Drives me nuts too. |

I kind of agree. It's not the worst thing to ever happen, and I don't think there's a fix in, but it rubs me the wrong way. I have big doubts there'd be such an apology if the scenario were reversed.
Oh well, I look forward to the apology the Flyers provoke when the NHL has to explain for the Penguins being eliminated in round one - BulliesPhan87
I have migraine today so hearing Campbell apologize to the pens kinda irritated me... |

amen bill, league kisses the penguins' asses and laughs when the refs screw us over - flyerscup2011
Campbell is a disgrace and an embarrassment. I wouldn't expect anything less from him.
$25,000 fine for a publicly made negative comment on an official's decision.
Sabe fans still waiting for an apology for Brett Hull's 1999 triple OT Cup winning goal. Get in line, brothers.

Not gonna lie I did too but it seemed like with the style they played, especially with Leclair being set up in front of the crease, it always seemed like that rule went against us more than for us. |

Yup I can clearly remember a goal review camera shot looking down on the crease and leclair's skate was barely touching the blue and they waived the goal off. Sabres fans are still holding out hope from 1999 |
