I been battling a migraine all day This game is like a shot of novacaine to the brain though. Told my wife I'm not getting mad if they lose, right from the start. 15 seconds in they go down. Just sat there cool as a cucumber. The third goal yea I was like wtf. Through the rest of the game though especially after watching that fantastic save by Bryz on Letang, I just dug in and watched. Think I played my karma cards right tonight!

Second game in a row I had to listen to Mike Lange describe a first period Crosby goal while on the way home from work. Nearly drove into a power pole.

Siiiiiiiiiidneeeeeeeey Crosbeeeeeeee. OMG. Shave me with a rusty razor and slap me silly Sidney.

So much better once I get home and turn on TSN.

JVR is part of the team. I don't know how what I said is advocating for that. I still don't understand how the kid was on pace for 30+ goals then gets hammered by injuries guys want to rip him.

I have a former work buddy who just happens to be a Leafs fan but his second favorite team just so happens to be the Pens. Apparently I'm too excited over just 2 wins...

I didn't watch a ton of Kings games this year, but I'm paying attention to Quick and he is just amazing

I dont know man. Wellwood has played some really nice hockey too. Lets not forget he was on a line with Hall when they won.... He had some really nice plays tonight as well, and only a matter of time before they start going in for him...

I'm not saying he is going to be as good a giroux, but I think he is going to be a suprise star in this league in a few years.

If Daniel doesn't come back, which is doubtful, then they're cooked. Edler's confidence is broke. Mason Raymond is useless. Look for Schneider to start game 3 in an attempt to jump start the team.

Nothing. I was kidding about trading JVR. You said you hope homer keeps the team the same, and I was just saying that the sucess they have had really doesnt include JVR this season.... but just a joke.

Wasn't crazy about a couple rebounds and the backhander goal but he really battled for all he was worth, and made some huge stops along way (that one on Letang was his best as a Flyer so far). Did the same in Game 1.

Wow!

I had my iPhone in the dressing room and saw that the Pens went up one and the Flyers tie it.

Then it was game time and I didn't think it would look good to bring my phone to the bench.

I had the opposing goalie looking up into the second level sports bar to try to read the score from one of the TV screens.

After our first period I learned that they had won and I leaped for joy and danced around like the guy at the end of Slapshot!

yeah, he left a couple of juicy rebounds out there ... especially on that PP goal right after G scored.

just some unbelievable saves though.
